Federal officials have confirmed new details in the Dallas ICE facility shooting. FBI Director Kash Patel revealed that the gunman, 29-year-old Joshua John, carried out months of planning before opening fire. Investigators say John downloaded DHS facility lists, researched ballistics, and used ICE tracking apps while expressing hatred for the federal government.
Authorities confirmed one detainee was killed and two others injured when John fired into the sally port. ICE and ATF agents worked together under fire to move detainees to safety. Officials are urging an end to violent rhetoric directed at ICE agents as the investigation continues.
