The father of 8-year-old Fletcher Merkel, killed in Wednesday’s Catholic church mass shooting, spoke publicly today.
He described a boy who loved fishing, cooking, sports, family and friends, and urged people to remember Fletcher for the life he lived, not the act that took it.
A 10-year-old was also killed, 15 children and 3 adults were injured, and one child remains in critical condition.
